Welcome to "Showtime at the Q: The Blog". First of all, that's quite a name. Whoever thought that up deserves a day off, a free lunch, and a long tender scratch behind the ear....but I digress.
This blog is for the entire entertainment crew of the Cavs and Sir CC to give you backstage access and thoughts about what's happening at the Q in our big show. Again....the title of this blog really nails it. I think that's the story here (again, props to whoever came up with that...wow.)
To start it off I thought I'd share one of my favorite bits...which is made up of one of my favorite moments. And to ensure this blog isn't only cleverly titled, but chock full of insightful nuggets I am going to give you a little more insight into how this video skirts the strict rules of the NBA to bring you the finest in entertainment available.
First of all here's the video. Maybe you've seen it on the scoreboard at the Q:
It was a great moment (in my mind) and one of my favorite dog moments ever.
Now for the amazing behind the scenes insights, served up in nugget format.
NBA League Rules prohibit making fun of players at games [except for one guy on the Chicago Bulls. They don't care if you make fun of him...more on that in another blog].
Anyway...because this video sort of makes one Celtic look a little foolish (I would content he makes himself look foolish) we use this video to promote upcoming games against the Celtics. Thus we aren't making fun on him when he's actually there...we do it the game before. It's the kind of clever loophole we are always looking to exploit to bring you the finest in entertainment at the Q.
